Citar:
"You are a friend of Mr Hammersmith. Mr Hammersmith's father dies and you are in the funeral. You will stay a couple of days in Mr Hammersmith mansion. One night Mr Hammersmith butler is murdered. The window is broken and one of the music boxes from Mr Hammersmith father collection has desapeared. You must help Mr Hammersmith to solve the mistery"
You think about it for a moment, then you say "I can do that, I like mysteries." The man smiles and says "Good! Now let us go!"
> examine music boxes collection
You walk through the mansion halls with your new companion. It is late at night when you find the room where all the music boxes are kept. There are many, some old and dusty, others brand new. You pick up a box which seems to be made out of wood and metal parts.
> open the music box
You open the box and see a small black cube. You take it out and look inside.
> examine black cube
You put the black cube back into its case and close it again. You have no idea what this thing does or how to use it. You wonder if you should keep it, but you don't know why you would want to.
> look at mr hammersmith father papers
You turn over the paper on top of the black cube and read: Mr Henry M Rhamsman died today at his home in New York City. He was 82 years old. His son John is president of the company that makes the musical instruments you play on television.
> go to talk with John Rhamsman
You enter the house and ask for John Rhamsman. He is sitting at a table reading a newspaper. He looks up as he sees you coming in and greets you warmly.
> say "i would like to know more about a black cube i found inside a music box"
John Rhamsman: "Oh yes, I remember you! You were here yesterday! How did you know?"
> say "sir, i'm afraid you are wrong. I have never been here and i never saw you before"
John Rhamsman: "Well, that's too bad. But you might be right about this black cube being something important."
> say "did't you make that black cube"
John Rhamsman: "No, I didn't make it. That was my father's work. My father had a lot of machines in his workshop and they used to be very complicated so that nobody could break them. They were called Hammersmith machines after me."
> say "is it possible to take a look at thoose machines?"
John Rhamsman: "I think not. The Hammersmith machine is one of the most complicated things there is and it has to be operated by someone who knows what they're doing. If anyone else tried to operate it, it wouldn't work at all!"
> ask "where are thoose machines located?"
John Rhamsman: "They are in a room behind the garage. It is called the workshop and it is where we do our best work. We also have other rooms for working on different kinds of machinery."
> go to the workshop
You open the door to the workshop and see several large tables covered with various tools and parts. There are also some boxes filled with bits of metal, wood and plastic.
> look at the Hammersmith machine
You look at the Hammersmith machine and see that it is made out of brass. You then notice that there are two small holes in the bottom of the machine which appear to lead into another room.
> look through the hole
You look through the hole and find yourself looking into a small room full of gears, levers and dials. On top of one of these dials is a little round plate with numbers written on it.
> talk to the other me
You speak to the man standing next to you. He doesn't seem to understand anything you say but he seems happy enough talking with you.
> look at the plate with numbers
You turn over the little round plate with numbers and read what is written on it.
> set the dials to the text in the plate
You turn the dials until the numbers on the plate match up with those on the dials. The words 'Hammer Makers' flash across your screen.
> think about who are thoose Hammer Makers
You think about who are the people in the picture and how you can get them to help you.
> ride the machine
You start riding the machine and soon you are moving forward along a long straight road. Suddenly you hear a loud noise from somewhere nearby. You stop the machine and look around. A big explosion has happened in front of you and all around you.
> wait until the smoke of the explosion desapears
You wait for a while as the smoke clears away from you and you see what had caused the explosion. It appears to be an old factory building with its roof blown off and windows smashed out on both sides. In front of this huge pile of rubble is a figure wearing black clothing running towards you.
> wait for the figure to arrive here
You wait patiently for the figure to come closer so you can talk to him. Eventually the figure arrives behind you and looks around before speaking.
> speak with the figure
The figure approaches you and speaks to you.
> say "tell me what happened"
You ask the person what happened and he tells you that there was a bomb planted in one of the buildings nearby.
> ask if he was the one that planted the bomb there
He says yes, but he wasn't the only one. He shows you where they were and you see a group of five men standing near a large metal box which is sitting on top of some scaffolding. They have their hands covered in dust and don't seem to notice you approach them.
El recopetín. Probadlo y dejad vuestras impresiones. A mi me dejó en shock.
